Life On The Farm
As you can tell the snow has arrived and I believe it is here to stay. At the end of Spirit Sands Ranch lane is a wedding gift Justin and I received when we got married from a close family friend. We will be adding to the end of the land to create a landmark for the ranch. Planning is still being done and gathering of materials. I am very excited to see our plans come to fruition.. and my goal is this next year. Justin always has different plans of course however maybe if I bat... batt? my eyes he will cave. Next year we will also be planting some more trees and tending to the ones we already have. When we first moved here there was not a single tree on our little desert piece of land... now getting to be an Oasis!

Welcome New Subscribers Welcome everyone to the Spirit Sands Ranch Family!

Mousse didn't make it to the butcher as mother nature had other plans this week....
From Our Customers We are having POTENTIAL customers get excited about ordering their beef! |
Product Spotlight OKay okay... do you see what I see? Cedar shakes, cedar shakes shinning in the light that my husband decided to finish.... I am over the moon with the results of the cedar shakes and I am excited to see how they will look on the little garden shed we have in the yard as we have way more bundles than we needed. We still have some clean up in the flower beds to do however its looking so great! Maybe next year we can replace the deck (it really needs replacing) and create more of a ranchy feel... any ideas send them our way!
If you see that door in the flower bed there.... Kyrna is completing her project with it this week and next and I am excited for the results!
We tried our new winter drinks this past week with the arrival of the snow and they were tasty...Justin did not like the pumpkin spice! ![]() |
Recommendations I highly recommend cedar shakes... why? They are quite a bit cheaper than the vinyl siding and they wont melt, it took Justin a bit of swearing to get them up there and some eye rolls because I'm sure he was experiencing the trauma of melting the siding after I told him to move the BBQ...so now that he has rectified the situation....I believe the man needs to get a BBQ!! |
Appreciation We are going to give appreciation to Ocean, Kohen's girlfriend for making some gluten free oreo cheesecake balls....my scales is suffering lol! |
