Life On The Farm

… BUSY READ BELOW ⬇️

Psst… there could be like 10 of the same images load so keep scrolling….

Look at this handsome young lad!
I know he’s my kid and I might be a bit biased sure…however a man in uniform 💋!!
Hudson was put on the honour roll for displaying all the characteristics a model cadet has!
Kohen & Ocean ❤️
The engagement photos came in and WOW 🤩!! They are most definitely beautiful photos and we couldn’t be more grateful Kohen has picked such a wonderful young lady 🥂!

We have been busy… as you can tell on social media with Kyrna going to the rodeos for MHSRA (Manitoba High School Rodeo Association)… it’s been challenging to keep up with laundry, cleaning , dishes as this time of year every year is busy as it is and now we have added rodeos! However we are happy to do it and it’s a bit cheaper than drugs 🤣!
Our week consisted of:
getting grater blades from the RM (to create a leveler for the hay field)
Cultivator (to put the blades on)
Rake so the hay will actually be turned over
Laundry, pre-making meals, cleaning bathrooms
Tidying horse trailer
Dealing with Lady No Ears as her owie came back 😩
Kyrna riding Ginger & Prince
Bathing Theo the stud muffin
Getting papers signed for horse registration papers
Hauling bills 1 hr away
Moving horses
Building a shot system for the bulls to tag them & load them (moved panels & such)
Got tires from Westman Salvage, took Kyrnas car to get them put on.
Kyrna worked 2.5 days this week… pressure washing
Justin put together the leveler
Hudson’s fixing our mangled chicken tractors
Taking the parts tractor more apart
Taking scrap to Westman salvage
Last weekend at the rodeo 2 days (2 with Hope-Ocean’s sister, 1 with Colton- Hudson’s friend)
Moved Jeff with all the mana cows so he could have company.
Justin checked out our trucks air conditioning
Hudson fixed Kyrna’s car radio
Loaded scrap….
Ok so this is a typical week which all happened before Thursday @ 7pm. Remember we had to eat, sleep & shower & drive LOTS!! Plus there is quite a bit more things… as everyone does all these things I keep things going in all the ways everyone forgets…
Last weekend @ the Rodeo we had a surprise visitor to come watch Kyrna

No notJustin… by Grandma Hazel you will see Marilyn Mosset. 💕. She is a very dedicated egg customer and we appreciate all her hard earned money when she buys eggs. Marilyn has actually been to MANY horse events the kids have been in… almost all 🤣… except she was meeting us there for eggs, and today she stopped in at had a peak! Thank you Marilyn for cheering Kyrna on and stopping by 💕
All the paperwork is signed… ***I hope!! To get the rest of our horses registered and transferred to our names. (Papers got lost in the mail… go figure!) so once that is complete we will be updating our website to introduce to you all our herd of horses!
Here is Justin & Sherald after all the paperwork was completed. Justin trimmed Shearld’s horses feet off & on for about 15 years then we negotiated to get her breeding stock. We will have to do another post on all the bloodlines another time!

We updated (showed pictures & videos) Sherald on all of the horses & their babies and she is super excited to have them be so well for us and to be in such good hands! She is looking forward to hearing how the rest of our year goes with them!
Appreciation: We are grateful to the universe to allow us to live this lifestyle and give the kids the experiences we have been able to and to all who have been apart of the process. We appreciate you all and know how much we truly love our Spirit Sands Ranch Family ❤️
